KARINA LAX PHOTOGRAPHY
Concept-driven driven editorial with social documentary
Sheffield, UK
About me
I celebrate real people, doing great things - glass-ceiling smashers and convention questioners who push at boundaries to make change.
Inspired by my Northern English roots, an education in photography, conceptual art and love of tea, I steep concept-driven editorial portraiture in social documentary. The results - imagery that creatively adapts to each subject whilst remaining grounded and impactful.
Thanks to British Journal of Photography’s Portrait of Britain (2023) and National Portrait Gallery, London, I’m award-winning and nationally exhibited. I live in Sheffield and work across the UK.
